Greenhouse Installation

For the past few years, it has been difficult trying to start seeds without a greenhouse. Last year we purchased lots of trays from Logan's and split them up among all of us to put in warm spots in our homes and apartments. "Giovanni" had the best spot in his porch. The top of my refrigerator is not the best spot. "Pasqualina" was able to put trays in her garage.

A couple months later, some sprouted, but many did not. Our goal in 2014 was to try to make our own greenhouse in a 4x6 bed - a small bed. "Giorgina" found a DIY greenhouse materials list online that we could make. However, when we sent the materials list to ACE Hardware at Seaboard Station, we found out the cost was over our budget.  I read the email and sighed. A few minutes later, I received an email from Josh Britt, Manager at ACE Hardware about sponsoring our greenhouse. I had to read it a few times to realize, ACE Hardware wants to install our much needed greenhouse.

Four days later, Bob King, owner of ACE Hardware Seaboard Station with Tony Diaz arrived at the garden in their "Pumpkin" to install the greenhouse. Later that day, we had lots of volunteers who helped us start trays.

Ace Hardware at Seaboard station is our community hardware shop and we hope it's yours as well.
